The Deol family arrived together at the special screening held in Mumbai on Monday. For them, the evening was deeply personal. Emotions were visible, and the silence spoke louder than words. Fans watching online felt the same weight of the moment.
As Sunny Deol stepped out of his car, he paused before entering the venue. He walked straight to Dharmendra’s poster and stood beside it. He then told the paparazzi, “Papa ke saath khada hota hoon.” Sunny looked at the poster for a few seconds. He smiled for the cameras, but his eyes appeared teary. It was clear he was holding back his emotions.
Bobby Deol also attended the screening with his wife Tanya and son Aryaman Deol. Cousin Abhay Deol joined them too. The family posed together near Dharmendra’s poster.

Rekha was another presence that stole attention during the Ikkis screening event. She arrived calmly and paid her respects with grace. Soon, pictures and videos from the screening flooded social media. One video quickly went viral. In it, Rekha is seen blowing a flying kiss towards Agastya Nanda’s poster. In another moment, she bowed respectfully before Dharmendra’s poster. Later, she smiled as she posed for the paparazzi.
Salman Khan also attended the screening under tight security. His arrival caught attention right away. Many fans saw his presence as a tribute to Dharmendra. Salman paused in front of the poster and appeared emotional. He stood still for a moment before moving on.

About The Film
Ikkis is a biographical war drama directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. It focuses on the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 India–Pakistan War. The story highlights bravery, sacrifice and duty.
The film stars Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He is also the son of Shweta Bachchan. Ikkis marks his theatrical debut. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Binny Padda.
Apart from Agastya and Dharmendra, the cast includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikander Kher, Vivaan Shah, and Simar Bhatia. The film also introduces Simar Bhatia, niece of Akshay Kumar, to Bollywood.
Ikkis is set to release in theatres on January 1.
