'It's Cool To Abuse...' Urfi Javed Releases Statement on Misbehaviour at Samay Raina's India's Got Latent, Check

Samay Raina: Urfi Javed, known for her one-of-a-kind fashion usually captures netizens' attention with her outfits. However, there are also times when Urfi Javed wins hearts for her bold attitude and audacious statements. But, this time Urfi has faced something serious and took a bold stand for it. Recently, it was reported that Urfi Javed was shooting Samay Raina's YouTube show India's Got Latent, when a contestant straight up misbehaved with Urfi by making derogatory remarks. Following this Urfi took to Instagram and released a statement.

Urfi Javed Reacts to India's Got Latent Controversy

As Urfi Javed is popular for her bold avatar, people usually assume things about her. The actress usually ignores negativity but also addresses it at the correct time. Recently, when the Follow Kar Lo Yaar actress was shooting for Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent, a contestant made abusive comments about her. Their statements triggered the actress and she left the stage. Following this, Urfi posted an Instagram story to clarify the problem. 

She wrote, "I think I missed the memo, nowadays people think it's cool to abuse someone or just slut shame someone for some views. I'm sorry but I am not okay with anyone abusing me, slut shaming me for my body counts. (Which they don't know but they just assumed it must be high.) All this for what? For 2mins of fame? The guy who abused me wasn't even joking, he got legit mad at me when I asked why he was faking being handicapped! He just abused me on the stage in front of so many people. The next one was just trying to be cool." Urfi further said that, "I was disgusted. I should've said something to these men but I didn't cause of the place I was at. Everyone thought this was cool. No, it's not. It's not cool."

Urfi Javed clearly expressed her thoughts on the matter. She was disgusted by getting compared with an adult film star and the way people treated this situation. This is not the first time, a guest has left the stage in anger. Previously, Rakhi Sawant also left the show in anger by throwing the judge's chair on the stage. 

 About India's Got Latent 

India's Got Latent is a show that approaches talent in a comedic way. Featuring Samay Raina as host, this show has several episodes available on YouTube. For each episode, Samay invites new guests. There have been guests like Poonam Pandey, Badshah and more. Describing itself as Your Favourite Pointless Reality Show, India's Got Latent's main theme is giving ticket sales money to the winner of the episode. But there is also a twist to it.
