‘It’s Shameful That…’ Aamir Khan Slams Certain Bollywood Actors For Being Demanding, Makes Shocking Reveal

Aamir Khan has spoken out strongly against the growing trend of actors making unnecessary demands on film sets. In a chat with Komal Nahta on his YouTube channel Game Changers, the actor called the practice “shameful” and said it was unfair to producers. From live kitchens to multiple vanity vans, Aamir feels these demands add costs that have nothing to do with filmmaking.

Aamir Khan Slams Actors’ Demands In Bollywood

The actor recalled his early days in the industry and said he was surprised to see producers paying for personal staff. Aamir said, “Stars should get recognition, but not to a point where they start to trouble the producers.”

He added that expenses for makeup, hair and costumes are fine since they are part of the film. But asking producers to pay for drivers, trainers or domestic help made no sense to him.

He further said that this issue has only become worse today. “I hear that stars of today also don’t care to pay their drivers. They ask their producers to pay them. Not just that, but the producer is also paying for the actor’s spot boy. They don’t stop here. They make the producer pay for their trainers, cooks. I have heard that now they keep a live-kitchen on set and expect the producer to pay for it. They even demand multiple vanity vans for kitchens and gyms.”

Aamir explained that such behaviour puts actors in a bad light. He said that even though stars earn in crores, many still shift their personal bills onto producers. “These stars are earning in crores and yet not capable of paying for their needs? I find this extremely strange. It is very sad and harmful for the industry. I am saying it strongly that it’s a shame that even today there are actors who are being very unfair to their producers and their films.”

He did admit that some costs are valid if they are linked directly to the film. Aamir mentioned Dangal, where producers covered wrestling training for the actors. But apart from such needs, he believes actors should handle their own personal expenses.

He also shared how he manages things in his own career. He said, “For myself, even today, when I take my family for an outdoor shoot, I always pay from my pocket. I never have expected any of my producers to bear that extra cost. Stars today are taking disadvantage of their status. Their demands only project them in the wrong light.”

His Work Front

On the work front, Aamir was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par and had a cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie with Rajinikanth. His superhero film with Kanagaraj has been shelved, but he is now preparing for the release of Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer Mere Raho in December under Aamir Khan Productions.
