India is currently battling the worst COVID-19 surge. With a shortage of hospital beds and oxygen concentrators, people and celebs alike are doing their utmost to help the ones in need. Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been lauded by many for his constant attempt to provide aid amid the coronavirus pandemic last year and this year too. However recently, he was trolled for an oxygen concentrator ad and was througly trolled for it.
Sonu Sood appeared in the poster of an oxygen concentrator machine ad the price of which was mentioned in lakhs. Sonu Sood was trolled for the same and a netizen posted screenshots of the ad and also called him a “cheater” and a “fraud”. Out of the many likes the tweet got, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was one of them to like it.
This is what the troll read: “@SonuSood you are cheating people whose loved ones are dying.. even 10ltrs of Oxygen Concentrator doesn’t cost 1 lac and you are charging ₹2 lac for 5 ltr oxygen concentrator… How do you sleep at night doing so much fraud? BMC was right in saying you are a serial offender.”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has been taking to Twitter to share many pressing issues arising due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sometime back, she was trolled for her thoughts on other nations ‘ganging up’ against India and making an issue whenever the country faces any crisis.
Earlier today, she tweeted her thoughts on drawing oxygen from the environment. Her latest tweets read, “Everybody is building more and more oxygen plants, getting tons and tons of oxygen cylinders, how are we compensating for all the oxygen that we are forcefully drawing from the environment? It seems we learned nothing from our mistakes and catastrophes they cause #PlantTrees.”
