About the Film

Famous Tamil director Siva directorial Kanguva was announced in 2019 as Suriya's 39th film in a leading role. Bobby Deol joined the project in 2023 marking his debut in the Tamil film industry. Bobby Deol has called this role "Out of Comfort Zone." On the other hand, Disha Patani joined the project prior to the Animal actor in 2022. The film is set in historical times when a tribal warrior tries to save his people.
