She alleged that the comedian planned the incident himself for publicity. Her remarks quickly went viral and social media users started trolling.

Rakhi Sawant Claims Kapil Sharma ‘Staged’ Firing Outside His Cafe For Publicity
In an interview with Filmygyan, Rakhi directly accused Sharma of using the incident to boost business. She said,
“Kapil Sharma apna restaurant hit karane ke liye goliyaan chalwa rahe hai. Kya hamare Bishnoi bhai ki bande itne free baithe hai ke inko goliyaan maar rahe hai? Arey bhai tum publicity karo apne restaurant ko hit karne ke liye Canada mein. Aap hamare bhai ko kyu badnaam kar rahe ho? Bishnoi gang ko kyu badnaam kar rahe ho? Kya aap logo ko yeh cheap publicity nahi lagti?”
Reacting to the viral video of her interview, one user wrote, “Rakhi Sawant bishnoi bhai se darti Hai.” Another commented, “Isko khud ni pata yeh kya bol rhi hai.”
A third added, “Pehle Salman bhai, ab Bishnoi bhai.”

All About Kap’s Cafe Firing Incident
Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe faced three separate firing incidents between July and October 2025. The first attack happened on July 10, shortly after the cafe’s soft launch. Reports stated that at least 10 rounds were fired at the windows while staff members were still inside.
Further incidents followed on August 7 and October 16. The August attack raised serious concern, with more than 25 shots reportedly fired from a moving vehicle. Despite the repeated gunfire, no injuries were reported. However, the café suffered major property damage, including shattered glass and bullet-marked walls.
Several groups claimed responsibility for the attacks. Associates linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang posted messages on social media. They alleged that Sharma ignored their calls and warned of further consequences. Separately, Harjit Singh Laddi of the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) also claimed involvement in the July incident. He cited alleged remarks about Nihang Sikhs on The Kapil Sharma Show as the reason.
The investigation into the shootings led to multiple developments. In November 2025, Delhi Police arrested Bandhu Man Singh Sekhon. Authorities alleged that he supplied weapons and provided logistical support. Officials identified the suspected shooters as Sharry and Diljot Rehal. Reports suggested they acted under the instructions of a gangster known as Seepu.
Kapil Sharma later addressed the issue publicly. In February 2026, he spoke at a Netflix event. Staying true to his humour, Sharma made a sarcastic remark. He said gangsters seemed to be “busy with him these days.”
Interestingly, reports also indicated an unexpected outcome. The controversy reportedly increased public curiosity. As a result, Kap’s Café saw a boost in business.
