The actress, who is currently going through divorce proceedings with her husband Peter Haag in Austria, said she was forced to leave the country after what she described as emotional distress and family conflict. In her detailed Instagram post, she alleged years of emotional trauma and claimed that her children are now not in contact with her. She also shared emotional visuals from Austria.

In her post, Celina Jaitly wrote, “I have no option but to share these videos. I lost my children the day I chose to leave Austria to protect my dignity, my children, & my brother.”
She further claimed that she has been denied communication with her children and expressed deep emotional pain over the situation. She also alleged that her children have been moved to an undisclosed location, intensifying public concern around the case.
Celina stated that she was served divorce papers under unexpected circumstances and alleged coercion and intimidation during the separation process. She further claimed financial and emotional pressure while trying to negotiate an amicable separation focused on her children’s welfare.
Celina Jaitly also said, “Today, I am left with a broken heart… & a place beside my departed son’s grave where I cry, pray & gather strength. This… is Mother’s Day for me.”
Legal Case Against Peter Haag
Mumbai Police have registered an FIR against her estranged husband Peter Haag under sections related to cruelty, intimidation, and assault under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Authorities have also issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Haag due to alleged non-cooperation in the investigation. Police are currently recording statements and gathering evidence as the probe continues.
The custody battle over Celina’s children remains a key part of the dispute. She has alleged denial of access despite legal arrangements, while separate divorce proceedings are also underway in Austria.
