Actor Returns With Mission Impossible 8
Cruise’s message comes right as Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning (MI 8) hit Indian cinemas today, May 17. The film has already grabbed attention before its release, with massive advance bookings. According to reports, MI 8 sold 1.65 lakh tickets for the opening day across top national chains like PVR INOX and Cinepolis.
The film has comfortably left behind its competitor Final Destination: Bloodlines, which sold just 27,000 tickets. With a strong pre-release buzz and solid reviews pouring in, trade experts predict a Rs 15 crore-plus opening day for MI 8 in India. If walk-ins stay strong, it could even cross the Rs 20 crore mark.
The film is out in multiple languages like English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. It is set to give tough competition to Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2, which has been performing well at the box office.
