Amazon Prime Video recently revealed the first poster of the web series — The Family Man 2 — on social media. Well, the most awaited second season of The Family Man is all set to drop next year.
The poster which is shared by the Amazon Prime Video’s on Twitter shows someone putting the finishing touches to a bomb, with the timer reading “2021”. (Which gives a hint that the season is going to come out next year). We can also see photos of the lead characters. The caption read, “Don’t know about the timer here, but we’re exploding with excitement 💥.”
The lead actor of the series Manoj Bajpayee also shared the poster on the social media and
wrote, “Bahot hua intezaar. Aapke liye new year ka tohfa laaye hai. Zara dhyaan se kholna. #TheFamilyManOnPrime.”
The Family Man follows a middle-class man Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, secretly working for the National Investigation Agency. While he fights against the terrorist, he is constantly criticized by his family — wife and children — for not paying enough attention towards them.
The show also stars Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Neeraj Madhav, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sharad Kelkar and Gul Panag in pivotal roles. South Indian star Samantha Akkineni will also make her first digital debut with this season.
Talking about the series, director Raj Nidimoru had told PTI that the new season will have a tone similar to its original but will be more exciting.
He said, “This is the first time that we are in a sequel kind of territory. We have not done anything like this before. We did this because the world in the show is so exciting. It is interesting yet challenging to match up to the expectations. We had to step it up.”
This upcoming series will be in different languages that are Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
