The most powerful mother of Bollywood, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen sent shockwaves when she adopted two daughters. She decided to become a single mother without getting married and adopted her daughter Renee back in 2000. In 2010 she adopted Alisah and the trio often light up Instagram with their photos.
Pooja Bedi
Pooja Bedi’s daughter, Alaya F, is one of the most the most sought after actors in Bollywood today. She credits her mom for everything that she has achieved so far in life.
Neena Gupta
Actor Neena Gupta is a self-made single mother who is an inspiration to many. Neena was in a relationship with cricketer Vivian Richards but chose not to get married. However, she decided to go ahead with her pregnancy and raise daughter Masaba Gupta as a single mother. “The joy she gave me was enough to go through anything,” says the Panhcayat actor who returned to screen a few years back.

Shweta Tiwari is an inspiration in every way and her daughter Palak Tiwari wants to become her mom’s support as she has seen her come a long way.
