However, on Day 6 (Christmas Day) the film made a big jump and collected a total of Rs. 13.65 crores. This jump in collection took the film to a total of 67 crores in India. Talking about the sales distribution, the The Hindi dub version of the film voiced by SRK attracted the most people and collected Rs. 4.75 crores on its sixth day. The original English version took the second place with Rs. 4.4 crores in sixth day numbers. This was followed by its Tamil and Telugu version which collected Rs. 2.5 crores and Rs. 2 crore respectively.

With its holiday box office numbers remaining strong, it seems like the Shah Rukh Khan and Mahesh Babu voiced Mufasa can reach the Rs. 100 Crores club. In case it does, this will make Mufasa: The Lion King one of the few Hollywood films which have reached this milestone in India. As of now, the only two films who have managed to reach this milestone number in the Indian market are Deadpool & Wolverine and Godzilla x Kong.

Talking about its worldwide numbers, the Disney animated project has amassed a worldwide box office collection north of Rs.1500 Crores. It has also received mixed to positive reviews with the film currently having an IMDB rating of 6.8 after 10 thousand user ratings. The film was reportedly made on a $200 million budget.
