Fans Still Find His Music Through VPNs
Speaking on One on One with Kris Fade, Aslam said it has been nearly a decade since he recorded a song for India, but that hasn’t stopped his fans from listening. He noted that fans use VPNs and even burn CDs to keep sharing his music, despite the platform-level restrictions.
“Music Will Reach Wherever It Has To Reach”
Addressing the piracy angle directly, Aslam clarified he doesn’t endorse it but pointed out that demand always finds a way. He said, “Not that I appreciate piracy, but music will reach wherever it has to reach.”
He Misses His Fans, Not Bollywood
Speaking directly to his Indian fanbase, known as Aadeez, Aslam made a clear distinction between missing the industry and missing the people. “I don’t miss working over there, but I miss you guys,” he said.
