The film has crossed the one billion dollar mark internationally in just 12 days of release, making it the second-fastest film ever to hit that milestone after Avengers: Endgame. With a global total of 1.67 billion dollars, split between 655 million dollars domestically and 1.01 billion dollars overseas, the film now ranks as the 12th highest-grossing movie of all time. Industry trackers suggest the film is on pace to cross the two billion dollar mark globally in the coming weeks.

India Collections Surge on Day 11
The Tom Holland starrer is having an equally spectacular run in Indian theatres. The film collected 41.13 crore rupees on Day 10, a 111.1 per cent jump from the previous day’s 19.48 crore rupees, taking its total gross collection in India to 503.96 crore rupees after 10 days. Day 11 collections were being tracked live at over 41.5 crore rupees from nearly 14,000 shows across more than 780 cities, with occupancy touching 35.5 per cent. The film has now crossed 458 crore rupees net in India and is eyeing a new record for Hollywood films in the country.
Advance Bookings Point to Strong Momentum
Ticket sales for the days ahead suggest the film’s India run is far from slowing down. Advance booking gross for Monday shows already stood at 3.64 crore rupees, with over 131,000 tickets booked across more than 10,000 shows in nearly 2,500 theatres spanning over 500 cities.
Shattering Domestic and Global Records
The film’s opening weeks were themselves a string of milestones. Brand New Day secured the biggest domestic opening weekend in box office history with 360 million dollars, along with the second-largest global debut ever at 932 million dollars. It also became the highest-grossing movie of the year worldwide, overtaking Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5.
