Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family is in the headlines after his mother recently filed a complaint against the actor’s wife Aaliya, and she was summoned for questioning by Versova police. The quarrel began after Aaliya returned to stay at Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s luxurious Andheri house and the actor’s mother objected.

Following the filing of the FIR, Aaliya disclosed that she is subjected to a great deal of abuse at home. She said to ETimes, “My access to the kitchen is prohibited, so I’ve turned the sofa in the living room into a bed. My friends who send food are not permitted to enter, and I am afraid to go outside, even to the gate to retrieve the food. What if the doors are shut behind my back?” Aalia said that she did not attend to the police station to deliver her statement, but instead had her lawyer handle it.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya married for almost a decade

Aaliya was in Dubai with her children Yaani and Shora when she was forced to return home owing to passport complications. Aaliya claims she is not permitted to reside in her own home while she awaits the same. “I’ve known Nawaz for almost a decade, and I married him when he wasn’t such a well-known celebrity. So, why am I not allowed to reside in my own home as his wife? Now that delivery agents are allowed in the house, I feel trapped,” Aaliya says. When asked as to why she doesn’t move and free herself of the discomfort, Aaliya responded, “I don’t have any alternate accommodation. After all, why should I give up what is properly mine?” Aaliya stated that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has not responded to her and that she intends to pursue legal action in this case.
