Pakistani actor Ushna Shah recently tied the knot with golf player Hamza Amin. The couple’s wedding pictures and videos have gone viral on social media, showcasing Ushna in her beautiful red lehenga designed by Pakistani brand Warda Saleem. However, some social media users criticized the actor for wearing a red lehenga for her wedding, and a few people objected to her dancing at the festivities, creating controversy. Netizens felt that the actress was promoting indian culture in Pakistani wedding and they will not tolerate this.

Netizens criticized her on twitter. One user wrote, “They are fooling people by promoting Indian culture in the name of Pakistani culture. We shouldn’t tolerate it as it spoils our own culture, traditional values and religious values as well.” Another user wrote, “i didn’t say anything like that k she should wear burqa wagera but the point is that it’s not our culture and as a Muslim we have some predetermined boundaries or limits so we should follow them.”

Responding to the criticism, Ushna took to Instagram Stories to give a fitting response to those policing her outfit.
Along with a photo of herself wearing her red bridal lehenga and flaunting her mehendi, the actor wrote, “Mrs. Amin To those who have a problem with my
dress: You weren’t invited, nor did you pay for my shade of red. My Jewelery, my jora: purely Pakistani. My heart however, half Austrian. Allah Humein khush rakhey Aameen (Beigaani shaadi mein Jo uninvited photographers ghuss gaye, unko salaam.)”
