Pushpa 2 The Rule: The tragic incident that happened on the fourth of December at the premiere of Allu Arjun's latest film, Pushpa 2 The Rule, has left everyone in shock. After the death of the lady who got injured in the Pushpa 2 stampede, her nine-year-old son is also declared brain dead.
Nine-Year-Old on Life Support Following Pushpa 2 Stampede
Recently a report revealed that the 9-year-old child is on the life support in ICU. He is sustaining major injuries in his brain and is declared brain dead. The child is admitted in the KIMS Hospital. The latest medical bulletin from the hospital says, "Child Sritej continues to remain in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), requiring mechanical ventilation with minimal oxygen support. His fever is subsiding, and he is on minimal inotropes. Vital parameters are stable, and he is tolerating feeds well. Given his static neurological status, a tracheostomy is being planned to facilitate weaning from the ventilator."
On 4th December, a massive crowd gathered at the Sandhya Theatre during Pushpa 2 The Rule premiere. As a huge number of people wanted to catch a glimpse of the South Indian superstar, the crowd craze slowly turned into a hustle-bustle and then a stampede. A mother-son duo was the most affected ones due to the stampede. As the mother Revathi died and her son sustained major injuries.
Allu Arjun Takes Responsibility, Couldn't Meet Afflicted's Family
As Allu Arjun is on the other side of the police case, he is not allowed to meet the afflicted's family. He took to Instagram and released a statement. "I remain deeply concerned about young Sri Tej, who is under constant medical care under the unfortunate incident. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, I have been advised not to visit him and his family at this time. My prayers remain with them and I remain committed to taking responsibility for addressing the medical and family needs. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I look forward to meeting him and his family at the earliest."
After the incident, Allu Arjun was booked in connection with the Pushpa 2 Stampede last Friday. He got bail on the next day.
