The latest Ormax popularity rankings have surprised many fans. These charts are usually led by names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Vijay. But this time, someone else has taken the top spot. The update shows a clear shift in what audiences are choosing today. And yes, Prabhas is now No. 1.

Prabhas Tops The October 2025 Male Actors Popularity Chart

Ormax has shared its list of India’s Most Popular Male Film Stars for October 2025. Prabhas has taken the first position. This is a big win because he has gone ahead of Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay, who often stay at the top. His pan-India popularity keeps growing with every film.

Vijay is at No. 2, while Allu Arjun has taken the third spot. Shah Rukh Khan stands at No. 4 this month.

South Indian stars are dominating the list. Only two Bollywood actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, are in the Top 10.

Shah Rukh Khan Vs Prabhas Popularity Debate

The timing of this ranking is interesting. A few weeks ago, Sandeep Reddy Vanga released the teaser of Spirit. In the teaser, he introduced Prabhas as “India’s Biggest Superstar.” This line immediately started an online debate. Shah Rukh Khan’s fans disagreed with it. They reminded everyone why he is still known as the “King of Bollywood.”

Prabhas’ fans also spoke up. They said his pan-India success (especially after the Baahubali films) has placed him on a different level. Soon, social media turned into a battleground, with both groups strongly supporting their favourite star.

The debate grew even bigger on Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday. Siddharth Anand, the director of SRK’s upcoming film King, posted a birthday message. Many people felt it was a direct response to Vanga’s claim. His message said, “When stars go beyond being ‘just a superstar’, they are called KING. Happy Birthday INDIA’s KING.”

He did not name Prabhas or Vanga. But the timing and the tone of the post made fans believe that it was a subtle reply.
