About The Film
O Romeo is an action-romance thriller set in post-independence Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor plays Hussain Ustara, a feared hitman whose life takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love with Afsha, played by Triptii Dimri. Their story unfolds amid crime, betrayal and unfulfilled love. The film is inspired by real events and is said to be a reworking of the long-pending Sapna Didi biopic, linked to underworld rivalries involving Dawood Ibrahim.
