Oscars 2023: Indian fans were excited to see Naatu Naatu in the nominations for the 95th Academy Awards after a huge win at Golden Globe Awards. After winning Golden Globe and gaining momentum, RRR attended the Oscars 2023 and the momentum led them in a right way as Naatu Naatu won the Oscars in the category of ‘Best Original Song.’ The moment was wholesome for the RRR team and Indian fans when they received the award.
RRR received immense love from fans
Naatu Naatu was nominated in the category of Best Original Song and the hopes were high from SS Rajamouli as they won Golden Globe. The other songs in this category was Applause (Tell It Like a Woman), Hold My Hand (Top Gun: Maverick), Lift Me Up (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), This Is a Life (Everything Everywhere All At Once). The film made a name for SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan at the global level as the film received a lot of love from different countries.
RRR was submitted in 14 categories
The film was submitted for the Oscars 2023 in 14 categories but it was selected for only one category but it’s also a huge win for India as the blockbuster film got a chance to present India at global level. RRR did it with the help of massive fan following of the stars.
