Padma Awards 2023 has been announced and many prominent celebrities won the Award. RRR music composer MM Keeravani and Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon got the Padma Shri, the Republic of India’s fourth-highest civilian award, while Zakir Hussain received the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award. On January 25, the Padma Awards were announced. This is not the first time the great tabla player Zakir Hussain has received a Padma Award. In 1988, he was awarded the Padma Shri, and in 2002, he was granted the Padma Bhushan.
MM Keeravani won Padma Awards 2023 after Golden Globe
MM Keeravani, on the other hand, has lately made waves for his work in SS Rajamouli’s film RRR. His work Naatu Naatu just won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. Raveena Tandon is one of the most well-known actresses in the Hindi cinema industry. She is the recipient of both the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award. She was most recently seen in the film K.G.F: Chapter 2.
The Padma Awards are one of the country’s top civilian honours. Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri are the three categories. Art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, and other areas are recognised.
Meanwhile, singers Vani Jairam and Suman Kalyanpur have been awarded with the Padma Bhushan, whereas Jodhaiyabai Baiga, Premjit Baria, Usha Barle, Hemant Chauhan, Bhanubhai Chitara, Hemoprova Chutia, Subhadra Devi, Hem Chandra Goswami, Pritikana Goswami and Ahmed Hussain & Shri Mohd Hussain, among others have been regarded with the Padma Shri.
