Pakistani Actress reacts to people criticizing her for calling Shah Rukh Khan ‘universal superstar’ amid Pathaan success

Shah Rukh Khan: Anoushey noted in a recent Instagram post, “As much as people despise him, and as much as Pakistanis believe we should not promote Bollywood, SRK is a universal superstar in my opinion. As artists, we believe we can connect with people across boundaries (which is a terrible man-made concept), but the world just knows us as humans, and this human has done amazing things and talks so eloquently! Always a fan of Shah Rukh Khan.”

In response to a comment on her Instagram about Shah Rukh, Anoushey accused people of ‘hating’ her for adoring the Bollywood actor. She said, “Man, I publish stuff on my wall as my ideas, but the people in the comments section here are remarkable…they can’t even accept an opinion. Like ‘in my opinion,’ an opinion is lost because they are preoccupied with the fact that I want to be seen by him (Shah Rukh). I mean, there are numerous ways to get recognised. Many, many more… than a single perspective on my own story. We talk about stars because they have worldwide affection, respect, and attractiveness.”

She further added, “However, this hatred is well ingrained among Pakistanis in general. Even for their own sake. They simply cannot be pleasant in general. Everything makes them want to put down another. God knows what satisfaction they derive from it, but it speaks volumes about a hardened, deprived, and pessimistic worldview to an outsider. Best of luck hating losers!”

Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, surpassed the 200-crore nett barrier in India in its first four days after generating 106 crore globally on its first day. Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana also star in the Siddharth Anand film. Yash Raj Films is producing Pathaan.
