Parineeti Chopra to join Diljit Dosanjh in Imtiaz Ali’s next; shooting will start on THIS date

Parineeti Chopra: It has long been stated by Imtiaz Ali that he has always wanted to make a film about the lives of two of Punjab’s most well-known performers. Now that the director is poised to begin filming in a week with Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh acting as his leads, his dream is finally coming true. In the film, Parineeti plays Amarjot Kaur’s role, while Diljit plays Chamkila’s. According to sources close to the issue, Parineeti Chopra will start filming the film in Mumbai on December 11.

Filming will start on December 11

“Parineeti has been putting in a lot of effort to prepare for the character over the recent months, and she is finally ready to start filming this Imtiaz Ali movie on December 11 in Mumbai. The schedule will be filmed over the period of two months in December and January between breaks, according to a source close with the issue. The source also said that over the recent months, there have been a number of script reading sessions. Imtiaz, Parineeti, and Diljit have participated in numerous workshops and are now prepared to start shooting the movie on December 11, according to the source.

The film will chronicle the murders of Chamkila and his wife Amarjot Kaur, as well as other musicians in their musical gang, on March 8, 1988. Imtiaz Ali is drawn to the tale since the killings of these individuals are still under investigation.

Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh will work together

Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh will work alongside for the first time on the flick Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali and his musical team are reportedly working on a special Playlist particularly for the audience. The movie’s soundtrack has already been locked down.
