An Ovation to Remember
All We Imagine as Light made its premiere on May 23 and was met with an enthusiastic reception from the crowd, which resulted in an amazing eight-minute standing ovation. This honour is one of the longest standing ovations at the festival this year, demonstrating how powerful the movie is.

On Instagram, Kani Kusruti, who plays Prabha, showed her appreciation and happiness. She expressed her joy at the movie's success with a string of sincere blessings and greetings without saying a word.
The actor who plays Anu, Divya Prabha, also posted on Instagram about the team's overwhelming support and gratitude. She celebrated the three major actresses' accomplishments together by sharing a fan-made, beautiful cartoon depiction of them with the director.
A nurse named Prabha (played by Kani Kusruti) receives an unexpected present from her long-estranged husband in the Indo-French film All We Imagine As Light. Meanwhile, Anu, her flatmate and younger companion (played by Divya Prabha), is searching for a peaceful place to spend time with her partner. At that point, the two ladies make the decision to go to a seaside resort where they may freely pursue their aspirations.

Payal Kapadia makes her feature film debut with All We Imagine as Light. A few years ago, her documentary A Night of Knowing Nothing received the Golden Eye prize at Cannes, demonstrating her ability and paving the way for her present success.
