PM Modi praises Snehdeep Singh Kalsi who sang Kesariya in 5 languages, shares his video: ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’

Snehdeep Singh Kalsi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video on his Twitter account of a young singer singing the popular song Kesariya in five languages.

The singer is Mumbai-based Snehdeep Singh Kalsi who sang the song in Malyalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi. The track features in the Hindi film Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

Snehdeep’s video went viral and now PM Modi has shared the same with a caption. “Came across this amazing rendition by the talented @SnehdeepSK. In addition to the melody, it is a great manifestation of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’ Superb!”

The song was originally sung by Arijit Singh. Pritam composed the music while Amitabh Bhattacharya penned the lyrics.

Snehdeep mesmerized the internet by singing the track in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. People couldn’t stop praising Snehdeep for his immense talent. Read some the reactions:
