Ponniyin Selvan 2 trailer: After giving the immense love to the first part of Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. Fans are excited for Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 and the makers sparked the excitement with the posters and trailer & audio launch event held today in Chennai. After a long wait, the makers released the PS2 trailer today with a huge trailer launch event. The traiter is worth the wait as it shows the firece avatars of the actors this time.

The trailer starts with the ending scene of PS 1 that shows Arun Mori (Jayam Ravi) drowning. Maturantkan becomes the new successor of the thrown and the elders decide to part the state between Maturantkan and Aaditya Karigalan (Vikram). The trailer further shows the action scenes of Vikram and Karthi. After that, the twist comes when Arun Mori seen alive with his smile. The trailer introduces new mystery and the entry of Nandini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). Trisha looks elegant in the trailer.
Nandini makes plan to thrash The Chola dynasty. One thing that grabbed the attention is the end scene of the trailer where Nandini puts a sword on Aditya’s chest.

Ponniyin Selvan is based one the Kalki’s novel with the same name and the film features Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Prabhu, R Sarath kumar, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and Radhakrishnan Parthiban.
