Distinguished guests such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the event, where Raveena appeared in a stunning golden saree and MM Keeravaani wore a sharp all-black outfit.

The Indian government had announced 106 Padma Awards earlier this year, in categories including art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, and civil service.

Raveena expressed her gratitude for the award, and dedicated it to her late father, filmmaker Ravi Tandon, who had guided her through her career in the film industry. Meanwhile, MM Keeravaani tweeted his appreciation for the award, attributing his success to his parents and mentors.
