The legal battle of actor Rajpal Yadav has taken a dramatic turn. Self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) has claimed that Yadav owns property worth Rs 50 crore but is refusing to repay his loans. KRK has been actively tweeting about the case, stirring debate across Bollywood.

On Thursday, KRK tweeted, “The Case is against #RajpalYadav and his wife. So why his wife is not in jail? Because my friend has paid her share Rs 1.50cr! Even Rajpal has took loan from many Bollywood ppl and not returned. Rajpal was buying an apartment of my friend just few months ago. According to one of his friend, he’s having Property of Rs. 50 cr. Means Rajpal Yadav himself doesn’t want to pay the loan. His elder brother is also saying the same thing.”
He added, “Every Bollywood wala should help #RajpalYadav if he really doesn’t have money. But if he’s having Property of Rs 50 cr and he doesn’t want to pay the loan purposely, then it’s his own problem. Even Vikram Bhatt is having enough money to pay back, but he decided to stay in jail.”
KRK also pledged Rs 10 lakh to help Yadav, asking his wife to collect the cheque from his office. Hr sdded that she is waiting to see the outcome of Rajpal’s bail hearing, scheduled for Thursday.

Despite claiming he has no money, Rajpal Yadav’s past earnings suggest otherwise. Reports say he earned Rs 1 crore each for Kathal, Dream Girl and Baby John. For Chandu Champion, he reportedly earned Rs 2 crore, and for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, between Rs 2–3 crore. This brings his total earnings from these films to roughly Rs 7–8 crore.
A Reddit user wrote, “I just don’t buy that this guy has no money. This case has been going on for 16 years. He agreed to pay in instalments, then missed payments nearly 20 times… How has he not cleared the dues?”

Despite the controversy, many Bollywood stars have shown support. Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Choudhary urged colleagues to help the comedian. Reports also say Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan and others have stepped forward to assist in clearing his dues.
Everyone is waiting for the verdict on Rajpal Yadav’s bail hearing. Whether the actor will get temporary relief or face stricter consequences remains to be seen.
