Ranveer Allahbadia is trying to start fresh in his career. After months of backlash and legal issues, the content creator is slowly coming back into the spotlight. This time, he is seen with two familiar faces – Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija.
Recently, Ranveer shared a selfie with Ashish and Apoorva on his Instagram stories. The picture had the caption, “HOPEFULLY DONE.” Many fans took it as a hint of their new collaboration. They did not share more details, but the post was enough to make followers curious.
Ranveer Allahbadia Has Praises For Ashish Chanchlani
Ranveer also shared an old picture with the Chanchlani family. The photo had Ashish, his sister Muskan, and their parents, Anil and Deepa Chanchlani. Along with the picture, he wrote, “This is from 2017 or 2018, I think. Go way back with the Chanchlani family. They’re amongst the best human beings I’ve come across in my life.”
He also praised Ashish and said, “Love @ashishchanchlani especially. Been an actual friend & brother throughout my own career. Before fame, during all phases, even after trouble – this guy remains the same. Can’t wait for you all to see his upcoming work.” On a lighter note, he joked, “Someone find my brother a bride, though.”
For the past few months, Ranveer has been calling his return a “rebirth.” In a series of posts under this theme, he has spoken about his struggles and comeback. In one post, he wrote, “Can’t explain how happy I am to just be back at work. Work is worship. Nothing else comes close. Epic, fresh podcasts coming up!”
When a fan asked him, “What does a career rebirth feels like?” he responded in another update.
What Went Wrong On India’s Got Latent
Ranveer’s controversy started on the show India’s Got Latent. During one episode, he asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” This comment went viral and sparked huge outrage.
After this, FIRs were filed in many cities. The National Commission for Women also got involved. The episode was later removed from YouTube and the show’s app.
Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija (who were also judges) gave their statements to the police. They said the show was unscripted and everyone was free to speak their mind. Ashish said he was the first judge to be questioned since others were not reachable at that time. He also clarified that while he laughed, he was not the one who made the remark.
Apoorva reacted differently. She shared cryptic posts online. One of them read, “Diwaaro ke bhi kaan hote hain” (Even walls have ears), hinting at how private conversations can become public.
