Riva Arora has shared a cryptic post following Karan Kundrra controversy. Riva, a child actor, has been in the headlines for various reasons, with the most recent being her video with Karan which was deemed as problematic by many netizens. Over the past couple of years, Riva has garnered major fame with her acting chops in films like Uri: The Surgical Strike and Gunjan Saxena among others. Amassing over 8 million followers on Instagram, Riva is also an internet sensation. From Jacqueline Fernandez to Mika Honey Singh, Riva has collaborated with a handful of stars for videos. However, her recent video with Karan Kundrra did not go well with many netizens.
Riva Arora Controversy
Riva, 12, recently shared a video on Instagram wherein she was seen romancing Karan Kundrra, who is twice her age. After heavy criticism, she deleted the video from her Instagram space. Later, her mother took to Instagram to address the allegations.
Taking to Riva Arora’s Instagram stories, her mother wrote, “I was calm, but not anymore. The allegations on my daughter’s age are completely false and it’s a saying that false news travels faster then ever and many reputed social media channels proved it. It is sad to see and disheartening for me. Atleast you should have cross checked with me before upload on reputed pages.”
Riva Arora’s mother added, “My daughter is an actor and working in industry since years (sic).”
Nisha also spoke about the same with India Forums and said, “It’s unfortunate to see renowned publications are spreading false information about a young girl without any verifications. My daughter (Riva Arora) is currently in the 10th grade. She has been working in the industry for more than 13 years and has achieved everything with utmost integrity and perseverance.”
While Riva’s mother says she has been working in the industry more than 13 years, an old interview of the actor from 2018 went viral in which she said she’s just 8 years of age.

Riva Arora Shares Cryptic Post
Days after the controversy, Riva on Wednesday took to Instagram to share a cryptic post. She shared a set of pictures of herself posing in a pink outfit with the caption: “Isn’t it kind of silly to think that tearing someone else down builds you up? Love me or hate me I’m still gonna shine”. Check out below:
Besides Uri: The Surgical Strike and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Riva Arora has also featured in several other films including Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Bharat. She also starred in the web series Bandish Bandits.
