Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap has once again caused a stir with his blunt and controversial remarks about Salman Khan. While he has already made several statements in previous interviews and clips, it seems the director is not willing to hold back. In a recent interview, Abhinav made bold claims, openly questioning the superstar’s reputation, influence and standing in Bollywood.
Abhinav Kashyap Calls Salman ‘Black Spot’
In a video shared by Bollywood Thikana, he talked about Salman’s school days and the influence around him. “Salman Khan bhi mere hi school ka senior hai. Kala dhabba hai mere school pe. Sabse smart to Shera hai. Wo to apni jebein bhar raha hai. Koi goli voli chali na Salman pe. Sabse pehle Shera bhagega. Bhai potty karein to bolo bhai wah kya pot hai. Sone ki potty. Agli film se Salman Khan tu producer hoga.”
Abhinav also brought up an old interview of legendary actor Amjad Khan to explain industry politics. “Ek Amjad Khan ka interview dekha tha maine. To unse poocha gaya tha ki aap Sholay se shuruaat hui aapki aur itni dhaansu shuruaat hui aapke top film fir bhi aapne Salim Khan ke saath dobara kaam kyon nahi kiya? To unhone kaha ki inki chugli aur chaplusi ki aadat ki wajah se.”
Dabangg Director Says ‘Salman Khan Sirf Note Ke Aage Jhukta Hai’
Abhinav did not hold back when speaking about Salman Khan’s influences. “Anant to shayad 29-30 saal ka hai. Ye 60 saal ke hain. Kyon ye talve chaat rahe hain Anant Ambani ke? Ye Ateeq Ahmed, Mukhtar Ansari, Dawood Ibrahim, Chhota Shakeel ye hain Salman Khan ke role models. Allah ke aage nahi jhukte. Ye note ke aage jhukte hain.”
On whether Salman might respect him, Abhinav said, “Respect? Arre wo to khud respect ke laayak nahi hai. Industry ne usko god banaya hua hai. Public ne usko upar uthaya. Par asal mein zero hai wo. Main uske saamne bolne se nahi darta. Jo sach hai wo sabke saamne bolta hoon.”
He also questioned Salman’s creative contributions and said, “Salman sirf apni image bachane ke liye paisa phenkta hai. Uske paas script ki value nahi hai, sirf branding hai. Main usko bol raha hoon seedha – tu producer banega, meri fees hogi 300 crore. Kyunki main acting karta hoon, aur tu sirf dabba hai.”
