The star embarked on a holiday to the scenic destination with her friend, seeking relaxation and rejuvenation after announcing a temporary break from acting to prioritize her health.
Road trip to Uluwatu and the stunning Uluwatu temple
While enjoying her time in Bali, Samantha shared glimpses of her road trip to Uluwatu, a beautiful region located on the southwestern tip of the Bali Bukit Peninsula. In her social media posts, the actress showcased the breathtaking views of the clear blue sea and the mesmerizing cloudy skies, capturing the essence of the serene location.
During her visit to the Uluwatu Temple, Samantha had an amusing yet unexpected encounter with the temple’s playful inhabitants – monkeys. In her hilarious posts, she narrated how the mischievous primates managed to “steal” her sunglasses while she was posing for a picture. Samantha shared pictures of the monkey cheekily peeking from behind, right before it snatched her sunglasses. A man, seemingly assisting her, was caught on camera trying to retrieve the sunglasses by bribing the clever little thief.
Battling myositis and prioritizing health
The actress has been candid about her decision to take a sabbatical for a period of six months, focusing on her overall well-being and health. Before arriving in Bali, Samantha sought divine blessings at the Golden Temple and engaged in a meditation session at the Isha Yoga Centre. She openly spoke about how meditation has been instrumental in helping her cope with challenging thoughts and emotions.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s break from acting comes after a demanding year of work commitments. During her sabbatical, she is determined to undergo treatment for her autoimmune condition, myositis, in the United States. The actress is fully committed to her healing journey and aims to return stronger and healthier after the hiatus.
