Stand-up comedian Samay Raina is enjoying massive global attention as he travels across North America for his Still Alive US Tour 2026. The comedian kicked off the tour with a live show in Washington, DC, on Friday, February 6.
Samay headed to New York after his performance, where he shared a special and unexpected moment with American comedian and actor Hasan Minhaj. The meet-up quickly caught fans’ attention on social media.
Samay Raina Meets Hasan Minhaj In New York
Samay Raina took to Instagram Stories to give fans a glimpse of his New York break. It showed his relaxed chai session with Hasan Minhaj. The two comedians were seen clinking white tea cups and enjoying the moment together.
In the photo, the two were seen sitting on a sofa, chatting casually. Sharing the post on his IG stories, Samay wrote, “Spent some time with the supremly talented @hasanminhaj. 10/10 comic, 11/10 man. Love you so much bhai, see you again soon.”

Still Alive US Tour 2026: Full Schedule
Samay Raina’s Still Alive US Tour 2026 includes multiple shows across the United States and Canada. After Washington, DC, he is set to perform next in Boston on February 7, 2026.
The US leg continues with shows in Los Angeles (February 20), San Jose (February 21), Seattle (February 22), Chicago (February 27), New York (February 28) and Dallas (March 1).
The comedian will then take the tour to Canada, with performances scheduled in Montreal on February 13, Toronto on February 14 and Vancouver on February 15.
At just 28 years old, Samay has already achieved a rare feat by performing at Madison Square Garden, making him one of the youngest Indian stand-up comics to do so. He also completed his successful Alive and Unfiltered India tour in July 2025.
Following a Supreme Court directive related to his show India’s Got Latent, he has been organising live programs and fundraising events in Mumbai. These initiatives aim to raise awareness and funds for people affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
