According to the viral post, Sanjay Leela Bhansali reportedly fell ill during birthday celebrations. The update suggested that doctors admitted him for urgent treatment and kept him under close observation. The unverified nature of the claim did not prevent it from spreading rapidly.

Filmmaker’s Team REACTS To Heart Attack Claims
Bhansali’s team issued a direct statement rejecting the reports. The spokesperson said, “Reports about SLB being hospitalised are completely false and baseless. There is no truth to them. We request you to kindly refrain from carrying any such stories, as they have no verified source.”
The statement firmly denied the heart attack rumour. It also clarified that Bhansali had only visited a hospital for a routine check-up.
Shortly afterwards, Bhansali’s family shared a note to end the speculation. The message read, “Mr Sanjay Leela Bhansali is doing absolutely fine. He has gone in for a routine medical check-up, and there is no cause for concern. We sincerely appreciate the love, care, and concern shown by everyone. Thank you for your continued support and warm wishes.”
