Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma are the directors and writers of the 2021 Indian Hindi-language romantic fantasy drama movie ‘Atrangi Re’. The movie, which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar, was made by T-Series Films, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films. Rinku (Khan), a serial runner, is the protagonist of the movie and is in love with Sajjad, a magician (Kumar). She is forcibly wed to Dr. Vishu (Dhanush). Vishu quickly develops feelings for Rinku, but when Sajjad enters the picture, the love triangle turns strange.
Sara had a starry debut with Kedarnath and Simba, both being a hit on the box office. She also received the Filmfare award for best female debut.
