‘Shameful’: Richa Chadha, Kiara Advani demand Justice and strong Action against video of Manipur women paraded naked

Manipur women paraded video: The shocking and horrifying video of two women being paraded naked and gang-raped in Manipur has caused a nationwide outrage. People from all walks of the life have been coming in front to support these women. In the view of this act prominent bollywood actors including Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood, Kiara Advani and many more have asked for punishment for this criminal act. 

Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and more speak out

Akshay Kumar took to twitter and expressed his feelings on this horrifying act stating, “Shaken, disgusted to see the video of violence against women in Manipur. I hope the culprits get such a harsh punishment that no one ever thinks of doing a horrifying thing like this again.”

Richa Chadha also quote-tweeted another post about the video, describing the act as shameful and horrific. 

Actress Urmila Matondkar questioned the deafening silence from those in power and the media, urging for action against the perpetrators.

Actress Kiara Advani has demanded justice for the women after witnessing a horrifying video of violence against women in Manipur. She expressed her deep concern and prayed for swift justice. Kiara emphasized that those responsible for such heinous acts must face the most severe punishment they deserve.

Sonu Sood also expressed his condemnation of the violence, stating that the Manipur video has deeply shaken the souls of everyone who watched it. He emphasized that what was on display was not just an attack on women but a complete disregard for humanity.

Actress Renuka Shahane criticized the inhumane nature of the violence in Manipur, questioning why there is no one to put an end to such atrocities. She took to Twitter to express her distress and highlighted that anyone who remains unaffected by the disturbing video of the two women cannot rightfully consider themselves human, let alone Bharatiya or Indian.

Kanika Dhillon expressed her disappointment and outrage on Twitter, referring to the act against Kuki women in Manipur as horrific. She directed her message to organizations like @unwomenindia and @NCWIndia, hoping that justice will be served for the victims.

Hashtags like ‘Manipur violence’ and ‘enough is enough’ have been trending on Twitter demanding justice. Manipur police has registered a case of abduction, gang rape, and murder and Union Minister Smriti Irani has assured justice.
