Shamshera Updates: So Vaani Kapoor Is all caught up in the promotions of her upcoming action entertainer ‘Shamshera’. She is paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor in this period drama and soon after the release of the trailer, people have been comparing Vaani’s character and her look to Katrina Kaif’s role in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. In a recent interaction, Vaani opened up about the same and cleared a lot of doubts.
Vaani Kapoor Explains…..
During a media interaction, Vaani Kapoor spoke about this constant comparison to Katrina Kaif’s and said, “No, because there’s only so much that you’ve seen in a trailer. One must perceive way more than one can understand from the trailer or the song that has come out. But there’s an entirely different arc for my character. I can say with conviction that it’s a very different film. I’ve seen Thugs of Hindostan, and I’ve worked on my film, and there’s no comparison,”.

Had to say this About Katrina…..
Not just that, Vaani also praised Katrina for not just her looks, but her acting as well as dancing ability. And went on to say, “ If you’re comparing me, please compare me to her beauty. I would be very happy. But I know that my part is written differently and the subject in the film is very different from that one.”
‘Shamshera’ is Directed by Karan Malhotra and stars Ranbir in the lead role while Sanjay Dutt essays the role of an enemy. Is all set to release on July 22, 2022.
