Shark Tank India: Punit Gupta came to present his waterless body bath company Clensta among Sharks and he impressed the sharks with the start of his pitch as he showed true enthusiasm. He gave example of soldiers of our country that they have to live without bathing for more than 90 days. Clensta gives a body bath spray to people to bath without water. All they need is to spray it on the whole body and wipe it. Anupam Mittal asked him about his journey and he was impressed with his honesty.
Shark Tank India: Pitcher said he want help from Sharks to grow business
Pitcher asked for 1 crore in the exchange of 1% equity with the valuation of Rs 100 crores but his company wasn’t profitable and sharks were unhappy after hearing this. Vineeta Singh asked him about the less sales of the product and pitcher answered that he is spreading the distribution channel to spread his product. He said that he came to Shark Tank because he wanted the sharks to help him in solving his mistakes and problems.
Ashneer Grover stepped out after that and he said, “Mujhe lagta hai aap kaafi distracted ho. Aapko ek celebrated founder banna hai aapko dhandha nahi banaa hai. Aapka busiess ek B-to-B ka business tha…aapne valuation leli. Jo dhandha bana rahe ho vo valuation ko justify karne ke liye bana rahe ho. Aapke andar se koi aawaz nahi aa rahi ki aapko yeh toilet cleaner banana hai aur yeh compulsion hai yeh koi attraction nahi hai.”
