Shark Tank India Season 2: Nana Ji aka RK Choudhary came with his family Vinita Agarwal, Sidhant Agarwal, Ambica Agarwal and Vibhor Agarwal to present their haircare and skincare brand Avimee Herbal. They shared that they started the brand after covid when they faced the problem of hairfall in their family. RK Choudhary shared that he is famously known as Nana Ji and his products are famously known among people across the world. Nana Ji’s age impressed the Sharks with his age as he is 85-years-old.
Shark Tank India Season 2: Amit Jain gave first offer
Amit Jain said that Nana Ji made him remember his grandfather as he was the same of his age and inspiring also. Amit took blessings of Nana Ji and Namita Thapar also said that he is very inspiring. They asked for 2.8 crores for 0.5% equity and it shocked the sharks as this amount was very high for the Sharks. Sharks told them that there valuation is very high and it was high to understand for the Sharks. Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar and Peyush Bansal put themselves out from the deal. Amit Jain offered them a deal of 1 crore for 2.5 equity and 1.8 debt and he told about his interest rate after Anupam Mittal’s deal.
Anupam Mittal gave an offer of 70 lakhs for 2% equity and 2.1 crores debt at 15%. They countered the offer with a deal of 2.8 crores 1.5% equity. However, Sharks did not make a deal but Peyush Bansal gave them an advice, “Aapko 25% equity Nana Ji ko bhi dena chahiye kyunki woh sahi rahega.”
