Shark Tank India Season 2: Pitcher takes class of Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal; Namita Thapar enjoys

Shark Tank India Season 2: Pitcher Poonam Bir Kasturi came to present her composter brand Daily Dump. She impressed the sharks with her interesting pitch and Peyush Bansal said that her pitch was one of the impressive pitches on Shark Tank India till now. She shared that she was a teacher and also build a school in the 90s. Namita Thapar shared that she had met her in NITI Aayog where Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave her Best Entrepreneur Award. Poonam gave an interesting reply to that and said, ‘Today, I came here to take the money not any award.’ She took the class of every shark and made the environment fun-filled.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Poonam Kasturi roasts the Sharks

Poonam Bir Kasturi started giving knowledge about her brand to the Sharks and it went to roasting of some of the Sharks. Aman Gupta asked, ‘Jab hum yeh ghar mein lagayenge toh smell nhi aayegi kachre ki.’ Poonam showed her product and said, ‘Humne jab start kiya that oh we handled some people like him. Sir Smell kyun aayegi jab vo band rahega.’ Anupam Mittal asked about the wet waste and she replied, ‘Wet waste generate methane and we deal with this also. How many methane do you think there are?’ Anupam said, ‘I don’t know maybe 20%’. Poonam roasted him by saying, ‘It’s 70%. There’s a huge difference between 40 and 70.’

Poonam also showed her another product ‘Ritha’ to the Sharks. Vineeta Singh asked, ‘Ritha toh baalo mein lagane ka hota hai na lekin yeh toh ispe detergent ke liye bhi likha hai.’ Poonam replied, ‘Ritha uske liye bhi use hota hai. Aap toh isi mein kaam karte hain aur aapko toh pata hai.’ However, Poonam asked for 80 lakhs for 4% equity but she got 30 lakhs for 4% and 30 lakhs debt with 10% interest from Namita Thapar.
