Shark Tank India Season 2: Real life Padman says he sought his mother’s advice, bags best deal of the show

Shark Tank India Season 2 is capturing the public’s attention and assisting entrepreneurs in growing their businesses as many people go to the reality show to promote their brand for investment. As people come up with innovative and exciting products, many pitchers impress Sharks with their pitch and product. Ajinkya came to Shark Tank to showcase his Sanitary Pad disposal bin manufacturing firm Padcare, and his concept impressed the Sharks. He stated that 98% of sanitary napkins end up in land and water bodies, where they are extremely damaging to people, thus he created it. Ajinkya’s vision pleased the Sharks and he got the best deal of Shark Tank India Season 2.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Ajinkya said his mother is his idol

Vineeta Singh asked him about his mother’s reaction when he decided to open this company. He said that his mother was very happy to know about it and his idol is his mother. Ajinkya shared that he learned about the disposal of sanitary pads during engineering so he asked his mother about the method and he got to know that there are very less opportunities to dispose Sanitary Pad. His mother said, “When he was 8 years. He saw sanitary napkin ad on the TV and he asked me about this. Normally parents neglect these type of questions but we gave him knowledge about that.” Ajinkya said, “My family was very happy when I told them about this and I felt I don’t need anyone because I have my family with me.”

Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal got the deal

He asked for 50 lakhs in the exchange of 2% equity. Peyush Bansal gave him offer of 1 crore for 4% equity and Vineeta and Namita gave combined offer of 25 lakhs for 2% with 25 lakhs debt without interest. However, Anupam Mittal advised him to not take debt and he matched Ajinkya’s ask. Anupam, Namita and Vineeta gave combined offer of 75 lakhs for 3% equity but Ajinkya asked Peyush to come and he closed the deal of 1 crore in the exchange of 4% equity with the four Sharks.
