Rakhi Sawant is shaken after the sudden death of Kaanta Laga fame Shefali Jariwala. The actress died on June 27 at the age of 42. Though the exact cause is unclear, reports suggest she was on a fasting routine and took a skin treatment drip hours before her death.
In a video shared online, Rakhi expressed her fear and grief. She said, “Mujhe abhi pata chala ki unka BP low ho gaya tha… unhone kuch khaya nahi tha.” She added that the pressure to look beautiful in the industry often pushes actors to dangerous extremes.
Rakhi shared that she no longer wants to starve for appearance. She said, “Main ab sab kuch khana shuru kar diya hai. Ab bhookhi rehna nahi chahti hoon. Agar main moti lagun toh bardaash kar lena. Koi yeh na kahe ki main moti hoon.”
She pointed out that being too thin can affect health. She added, “Patle rehkar BP low ho jaata hai… sabke hormones alag hote hain. Body shaming nahi honi chahiye.”
Rakhi advised girls to eat when hungry and not follow extreme beauty trends. She said, “Jab bhook lage tab khana chahiye. Sab kuch khana chahiye, bas gym karna chahiye.” She also mentioned she wasn’t wearing makeup in the video but still felt confident, adding that her friends call her beautiful.
She also opened up about living alone and said Shefali’s death has made her more cautious. “Main ghar mein akeli rehti hoon. Ab thodi bhi bhook lagti hai toh turant kuch kha leti hoon. Na BP low hona chahiye, na high.”
Shefali’s passing has sparked concern in the entertainment world. Many are questioning the extreme pressure actors face to look perfect. While the official reason is yet to be confirmed, early reports link her death to health complications caused by fasting and a recent beauty treatment.
