Shilpa has kept herself away from cinema in the recent years. She made her comeback with Hungama 2 and there has been no looking back since then.
On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa on March 22, Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram and shared the poster of her look from KD-The Devil. Her retro queen look has gone viral on the internet. Shipa is wearing a white saree with red polka dots and black border. She has paired the saree with a red blouse. She completed the look with her lustrous long hair, big black sunglasses and an animal print handbag.
Shilpa is thrilled
Shipla is thrilled about her new role. She shared the look on her Instagram page. She wrote, On this auspicious day of NEW beginnings, I’m thrilled to share with you a NEW character entering the war in #KD’s battlefield as #Satyavati
In KD-The Devil, Shilpa will be essaying the role of Satyavati in the pan-India film.
About the film, Shipa says, “A war is fought between kingdoms and every kingdom needs a ‘Satyavati’. I’m so excited and pumped to join the ‘KD’ battlefield and step into this powerful role.”
Based on true events
While the makers have kept the details under wraps, the period action film reportedly based on actual events that took place in Bangalore in the 1970s. With Druva Sarja in the lead role, KD- The Devil also stars V Ravichandran and Sanjay Dutt. And now with Shilpa Shetty Kundra on the scene, excitement around this entertainer has started mounting.
The pan-India multilingual is all set to release in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. KD-The Devil is directed by Prem.
