Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 8: Salman Khan’s Sikandar has been a hot topic among Bhaijaan’s massive fanbase. However, this time, the attention is due to the film's underwhelming performance at the box office. Starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, Sikandar released over the Eid weekend with massive expectations. Fans were hoping for a roaring comeback, but the movie failed to live up to the hype. Despite all the buzz, the film is struggling to make a strong impact in its second week. On Day 8, Sikandar finally entered the ₹100 crore club. But even with this achievement, the film continues to fall short of the high benchmarks set by previous Salman Khan releases.

Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 8: Finally Enters ₹100 Crore Club But Lacks Momentum

Salman Khan’s Sikandar, made on an estimated budget of ₹200 crore, has finally crossed the ₹100 crore mark. However, the journey hasn’t been as smooth as expected. As per Sacnilk’s early estimates, Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 8 stands at ₹4.50 crore, taking the film’s total India net collection to ₹102.25 crore.

The film opened strong with ₹26 crore on Day 1 (Sunday), followed by ₹29 crore on Day 2 (Monday), marking a growth of 11.54%. However, things began to go downhill from Day 3, which saw a sharp drop to ₹19.5 crore, a decline of 32.76%. The downward trend continued on Day 4 (Wednesday) with ₹9.75 crore, and further slipped to ₹6 crore on Day 5 (Thursday), reflecting a 38.46% fall. On Day 6 (Friday), Sikandar earned ₹3.5 crore, a 41.67% dip from the previous day. While Day 7 (Saturday) brought a slight improvement with ₹4 crore, Day 8’s ₹4.50 crore collection only indicates a minor push rather than sustained momentum.

Despite entering the ₹100 crore club, the film’s inconsistent and steadily declining daily earnings after its strong opening weekend remain a concern, especially for a big-budget Salman Khan movie released during the Eid holiday frame.

Sikandar Falls Short When Compared to Salman Khan’s Blockbuster Benchmarks

When compared to Salman Khan’s past films, Sikandar doesn’t quite match the success levels. Take Dabangg 3 for example — the film opened with ₹24.50 crore and wrapped up its first week with ₹126 crore. That’s a significantly better performance in the same timeframe.

Even more notable is Tiger 3, which featured Salman Khan alongside Katrina Kaif. The film opened with a massive ₹53 crore and went on to earn ₹224 crore in just its first week. Eventually, Tiger 3 grossed around ₹336 crore after three weeks. These numbers have set a high benchmark for Salman Khan movies at the box office.
