Spirit has finally gone on floors and the excitement is huge. Prabhas has teamed up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for this big pan-world action thriller, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pranay Reddy Vanga. The first schedule began today with a traditional muhurat puja.
Prabhas’ Spirit Goes On Floors With Puja Ceremony
The launch was grand and Megastar Chiranjeevi attended as the chief guest and sounded the clapboard for the first shot. Prabhas was also present, but the makers did not reveal his look. They avoided sharing any solo photos of him. One picture did show him shaking hands with Chiranjeevi, and that alone sent fans into a frenzy. The team also started regular shooting on the same day.
Triptii Dimri grabbed attention at the event. She posed with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Bhushan Kumar in a group photo during the puja. This is her second film with Vanga after Animal. Her pairing with Prabhas has already created buzz, and the new photos have added to it.

What Spirit Is About
Spirit is a high-energy action thriller with Vanga’s intense style. This is his first film with Prabhas, and expectations are high after the massive success of Animal.
Prabhas plays a disgraced IPS officer. He is a former academy topper who ends up in jail after being dismissed for misconduct. A special sound story, released on Prabhas’ birthday, teased the film’s tone. It showed a tense scene between Prabhas and a strict jail superintendent played by Prakash Raj. The story follows the officer’s mission to destroy a powerful international crime syndicate and earn back his honour.
Triptii Dimri plays the female lead. The cast also includes Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj in key roles. The film is being made on a huge scale by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. It will be shot across several locations in India and abroad. The makers plan a pan-world release in multiple Indian languages and also in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.
Spirit is expected to be released in 2026. The date is not final yet. But with the shoot now underway, fans are waiting for more updates (especially Prabhas’ look), which remains a secret for now.
