SS Rajamouli will appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers, his debut US talk show. On January 9, the filmmaker will appear as a guest on the American comedian’s show. As the episode’s other guest, actor Alison Williams will appear. Rajamouli is touring the United States to promote his Telugu film RRR ahead of the Golden Globes ceremony on January 10 and the forthcoming Oscar nominations later this month.
J Hurtado helped screen RRR across North America
J Hurtado, a film reviewer who has helped screen RRR in several theatres across North America, verified the filmmaker’s attendance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Sharing the post on Twitter, he wrote, “Can’t make it to the @ChineseTheatres screening of #RRRMovie tomorrow? Don’t worry, #SSRajamouli will be guesting on @LateNightSeth. So you can still get your SSR fix! Someone record it for us!”
Ram Charan and Jr. NTR attended sold-out show along with SS Rajamouli
On Monday, Rajamouli and the film’s stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR attended a sold-out showing of the film at the Chinese Theatres. It is one of the world’s largest IMAX theatres. The trio will then attend the Golden Globes on Tuesday at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. At the 80th edition of the awards event, the Telugu film is nominated in two categories: Best Foreign Film and Best Original Song for the hit song Naatu Naatu.
