Stree 2: Stree, one of the best sleeper hits of all time, is returning for a second instalment. The. horror comedy, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in leading roles, was directed and produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan, respectively. As per the latest reports, Stree 2 will go on floors in July.
Stree 2 shoot begins in July
Stree 2 is one of the most critically acclaimed films of all time. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, the film was a laughter riot mixed with elements of horror. The same star cast will be returning for the second part, the makers announced at Jio’s Infinite event earlier this year. The story will be based in a small town in Chanderi of Madhya Pradesh town which has a long history of customs and culture. According to insiders with knowledge of the making of the movie’s sequel, Stree 2 will also be shot in Chanderi. If reports are to be believed, the shooting of the film will begin in the second week of July.

The storyline of Stree is based on the Karnataka urban legend Nale Ba (Come Tomorrow). It follows the story of a witch who kidnaps men at night when they are all by themselves, and leaving only their clothes behind. Amar Kaushik, who made his directorial debut with the project, and Dinesh Vijan, Raj, and DK produced the comedy-horror movie. Stree was one of the highest-grossing films of 2018.
