Akshay Kumar: As Indian Khiladi Akshay Kumar is gearing up to bring back the OG horror-comedy for the fans, Tabu is set to give the 90s vibes for the film. Recently, PinkVilla reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress Tabu has joined hands with Priyadarshan's Bhooth Bangla for a crucial role. The actress is going to act in Priyadarshan's film after 25 years. Let's find out more. 

Tabu, Akshay Kumar To Bring the OG Vibe in Bhooth Bangla

As per PinkVilla's report, Akshay Kumar lead Bhooth Bangla has recently signed Tabu for one of the lead roles. Tabu was the actress in Akshay Kumar's film directed by Priyadarshan, Hera Pheri, which was released 25 years back. This upcoming film will mark the reunion of Akshay, Tabu and Priyadarshan. A source told PinkVilla, "The actress loved her part and the script, which marries horror and humour with Indian Mythology. She is excited to step into the crazy world, which is set to be created by Priyadarshan."

More About Bhooth Bangla

Anticipations were high in the air when Akshay Kumar revealed his future plans. On his birthday, 9th September Akshay revealed his collaboration with director Priyadarshan after many years for Bhooth Bangla. Recently, the filmmakers also revealed the release date of the film. It is set to release in 2026 on April, 2nd. Along with Akshay Kumar Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi and more are also reported to be joining the star cast. Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures is one of the film's producers.

Tabu and Akshay Kumar Work Front

Started her 2024 with a famous flick starring Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Crew Tabu enjoyed a good year. Followed by Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, this was their 9th film together. Tabu has recently appeared in the American science fiction Dune: Prophecy as Sister Francesca, making her debut in the industry.

Akshay Kumar on the other hand after giving 4 massive films and one cameo in Stree 2 already has a jam-packed schedule for the coming years. In 2024, Akshay Kumar appeared in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sarfira, Khel Khel Mein and the massive hit Singham Again.
