Tamil actor Prabhu, who has appeared in supporting roles in several successful films, passed away. The actor was battling cancer for a long time and breathed his last on June 14. The health of the actor, who was undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Chennai, was deteriorating and despite several attempts, he lost the battle with cancer. Music composer D Imman condoled his death on social media.

Music composer D Imman offers condolences to late actor
D Imman received Prabhu’s mortal remains and also performed the last rites of the actor. He also expressed his condolences to the actor on Twitter. Sharing some pictures of Prabhu, he wrote, “Actor Prabhu (Padikkathavan and Numerous other films) is no more with us. He had suffered from stage 4 cancer. And Ascended to the other world this morning. Doctors,nurses,social activists tried their level best to retrieve him. But couldn’t. Rest In peace brother. My heartfelt condolences.”

Prabhu has appeared in supporting roles in over 100 Tamil films. Prabhu’s stellar performance in ‘Padikkathavan’ was widely appreciated. It is believed that due to lack of work during the lockdown, he could not get proper treatment for cancer.
