Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Collection Day 4: Dhanush And Kriti Sanon Starrer Sees Huge 56% Drop On Monday After Strong Weekend, Crosses Lifetime Earnings Of Raanjhanaa

Tere Ishk Mein records a Monday drop but crosses Rs 60 crore in four days. Read the latest box office update on the Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer.

Tere Ishk Mein has wrapped up its first Monday with a sharp fall, but the film is still holding well after a strong weekend. The romantic drama starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon released on Friday and opened to a big response, even without a holiday boost. It quickly became one of Dhanush’s biggest openers.

Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Collection Day 4

According to Sacnilk, the film made Rs 8.25 crore on day four. This is a clear 56% drop from Sunday’s Rs 19 crore. The fall looks big, but it is a normal Monday dip after a high weekend. Most films slow down once the weekend crowd settles.

With this, the total collection has reached Rs 60.25 crore in India. The film earned Rs 16 crore on Friday, Rs 17 crore on Saturday and Rs 19 crore on Sunday. The weekend numbers showed strong interest from both fans and casual viewers. Even with the Monday drop, the film is still performing well.

One of the biggest highlights is that Tere Ishk Mein has already crossed the lifetime collection of Dhanush and Aanand L. Rai’s Raanjhanaa. That film made Rs 60.22 crore. The new release has crossed that mark in just four days, which is a major achievement.

The film is also ahead of other romantic dramas released this year. Siddharth and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari closed at Rs 51.28 crore. Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari ended at around Rs 61.85 crore. Tere Ishk Mein needs just Rs 1–1.6 crore more to cross that number, and it is likely to happen soon.

Trade experts now expect the film to get a push on Tuesday. Many theatres offer low-ticket prices, starting at Rs 99, which often brings back weekday viewers. If the film sees even a small jump, the first-week numbers will look even better.

The real test will be the midweek trend. Steady collections from Wednesday to Friday will show how well the film can perform in the long run. Overseas earnings and strong regional numbers may also help the film stay stable.

About the Film

Tere Ishk Mein is described as a spiritual sequel to the 2013 hit Raanjhanaa. Dhanush plays Shankar, a passionate and stubborn lover who often follows his emotions. Kriti Sanon plays Mukti, a woman torn between love and heartbreak. The film follows their intense journey filled with love, pain and revenge.

The film is made on a budget of Rs 75–90 crore. Reports suggest that the makers recovered a large part of the investment even before release through digital, satellite and music rights.

The film is produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. It is backed by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. AR Rahman has composed the music, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

Tere Ishk Mein has started strong, and all eyes are now on how it performs through the week.
