After a long wait, the teaser of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer Tere Ishk Mein is out. It gives fans a glimpse of an intense and passionate love story. Music by AR Rahman adds a haunting and emotional touch.
What’s In Tere Ishk Mein Teaser?
The teaser introduces Shankar (Dhanush) and Mukti (Kriti Sanon), a couple with a complicated love. Shankar arrives at Mukti’s Mehendi ceremony right after his father’s funeral. He pours Ganga jal on her to wash away her sins. He even curses her, so she realises the pain of losing someone she loves.
Shankar says, “Apne baap ko jalaane gaya tha Banaras, socha tere liye Ganga jal leta aaun (I went to Banaras to cremate my father and thought of bringing some Ganga jal for you). Nayi zindagi shuru kar rahi hai, purane paap toh dho le (You are starting a new life, at least wash your old sins).”
Director Aanand L Rai explained the film’s theme and said, “Ishk is only about surrender – letting it heal you, hurt you, and change you.” The teaser reflects this with poetic yet raw visuals. Set in Benaras, it shows love in its most human form (messy, passionate and sometimes painful).
The teaser also hints at heartbreak. Kriti is seen turning to alcohol, while Dhanush fights with unknown goons. These moments suggest a story that is more than romance. It explores how love can lift you up and also break you down.
